A Plot Twist on the Colorado River

This came from the Colorado Basin River Forecast Center today:

March 2012 will go down in history as one of the warmest and driest on record in the Upper Colorado Basin. It has had big impacts on the snowpack (many SNOTEL sites on pace to melt out earlier than we've seen before) and forecasts (major decreases for much of the basin).
